The story
House of Mashi was born inside a stainless steel fabrication works. Since 1993, our parent company — Sudha Enterprises, today SESPL — has cut, formed and finished precision stainless steel in Chennai for clients who cannot afford a millimetre of error.
MASHI is the design expression of that legacy. The same lasers, the same press brakes, the same hands — turned from industrial components to objects people live with.
The name
MASHI — where craft becomes design. A family name for a family practice, carried from the workshop floor into the home.
What makes MASHI different
Only stainless steel. Always bespoke. Never repeated. We believe stainless steel is not industrial — it is architectural. It holds light the way no wood or stone can, and it will outlast the building it stands in.
The pedigree
Our fabrication facility is an approved supplier to Indian Railways' coach factories and to heavy engineering institutions — a heritage of tolerance, repeatability and trust that most furniture ateliers cannot claim.
